The Virginia Reign FC is excited to announce its coaching staff and bios for the upcoming 2023/24 season - along with a few new staff members taking on larger roles in the upcoming fall season.

We are excited to welcome Kellie Ernst and Lakaiah Robinson to expanded roles with the Reign FC Technical Staff.  

Kellie Ernst will serve as a club Technical Trainer for the U11 to U15 Age groups - working primarily with the gold and black level teams in the 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2009 age groups.  Kellie brings a wealth of playing and coaching knowledge to the club in year 2 and we are excited to have her involved.  "Kellie has always been a part of the soccer community in Williamsburg and on the Peninsula and we are very excited for her to work training our teams on a consistent basis and be able to bring her experiences as a youth player, high school star, and college player in this community to our young females and help them better their experience with Reign FC" - Bobby O'Brien - Co-Technical Director

Bio:
Former Youth and HS Standout at Lafayette HS (district and regional player of the year her Junior and Senior Years - holds the LHS record for goals in a career with 109)
Division 1 player at the College of William and Mary
United Soccer Coaches - Regional License
Currently serves as Director of Operations for College of William and Mary Womens soccer program
Head Coach of Lafayette girls soccer - State Champions (first in school history) 2022
Named State Coach of the Year for Virginia by the United Soccer Coaches Association for 2022

Lakaiah Robinson will take an expanded role as the Asst. Youth Director (Peninsula) - helping with the outreach, grassroots, academy and U9 & U10 Travel teams and programs on the Peninsula.  Lakaiah a former youth player in the area and local high school standout before attending Lynchburg College, has been coaching at all levels including assisting the Reign Youth Academy, Coaching the 2006 Gold and currently is the Asst. Coach at York High girls program. "Lakaiah brings a great energy and youthfulness to the next generation of players at Reign FC.  She is great connecting with the young girls players and will ensure they have a great first experience with soccer. We are excited to have her help grow the club on the Peninsula and head up the u9/10 travel teams" - Martin Vickerton - Co-Technical Director

Reminder that the Virginia Reign FC has announced it will be holding tryouts/player placements for its travel team programs beginning April 29th to May 4th 2023.

The girls tryouts/placements are for all girls born in 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006 and 2005 - who would like to be considered for girls travel teams in the Virginia Reign Football Club for the 2023/24 year.
